What You’ll Achieve EASA Part-147 Certificate of Recognition (Theoretical & Practical, as applicable) for Airbus A350 (B1/B2). Full system-level competence for airframe, avionics, and powerplant maintenance on A350-900 and A350-1000 fleets. Detailed understanding of the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engine family, including control, performance, and monitoring systems. Course Content (ATA-Structured) Airframe & Systems Limitations, description, AMM/TSS structure, MEL/CDL, composite structure handling, electrical safety, maintenance practices. Powerplant: Trent XWB-84 / XWB-97 Engine architecture, FADEC, thrust management, bleedless engine integration, nacelle systems, vibration monitoring, Engine Health Monitoring (EHM). Fuel / Pneumatic / Hydraulic / Electrical Fuel system architecture, transfer logic, refuel/defuel systems. Pneumatics, air-generation, valve logic. Hydraulics including “green/blue/yellow” system architecture and RAT integration. Electrical system overview including the A350’s extensive electrical architecture and power distribution units. Landing Gear & Brakes Gear operation, high-lift gear logic, brake-by-wire, anti-skid, steering control unit functions. Flight Controls Full fly-by-wire architecture, load control laws, spoilers, slats, flaps, flap lever module, autopilot integration. Avionics & Instruments (B2 Depth) FMS, EFIS/IRS, surveillance, sat-com, networking, AIMS, integrated modular avionics (IMA), data bus systems. Pressurisation & Environmental Control Cabin pressure logic, pack operation, digital ECS control, temperature regulation, smoke/air quality sensors. Fire Protection / Oxygen / Ice & Rain Detection and extinguishing systems, cockpit/cabin oxygen systems, wing/engine anti-ice, windshield and probe anti-ice.
